Season 5 marked the beginning of William "Prune" Wickart's tenure as Commissioner of the EEFL. It also marked some major rules changes. The "Captain" attribute was dropped. Each team was allowed to make one extra player intelligent. Intelligent MF's who played at MF were declared to be Midfield Generals, who added their age to their SL. MF Ranma Saotome was made intelligent.
Also, the league was expanded, adding four divisions: Tasman, Atlantic, Western, and European. The teams in the Original Division were:

The Anime Hentais began season 5 of the EEFL by drafting FW Koh Uraki, MF Nina Purpleton, and GK Phantom Harlock.
In the pre-season tourney, AH lost at WC 0-1 (16-5), lost at home to to SF 1-2 (5-13), and lost to OBT 0-2 (4-22). Things were already turning bad for AH.
In session A, we won at home against CP 3-0 (11-6), lost at home to WU 1-2 (5-12), then drew WC in an away rematch 1-1 (10-6).
Session B was even worse, with two away losses, to TMM 0-2 (4-14) and to SF 0-1 (5-2). We then drew OBT at home 0-0 (1-9).
Session C was a repeat of session B, with an away loss to MMM 0-1 (7-11), a home draw against HE 0-0 (5-2), and another away loss to GH 1-4 (1-21). Prune's commented, "You did *not* misread that -- the Smurfs earned a dude point this session. AA has returned to their old form, giving us 3 draws this session."
AH slipped to the bottom of Original after session D. We lost at home to FCA 0-2 (6-6), lost away to AA 0-3 (2-14), then salvaged an away draw against OBT 0-0 (2-9).
Session E saw a home loss to WC 0-2 (10-13), another home loss to AA 0-5 (1-10), then an away win against WU 1-0 (3-2). This win was AH's second win of the season, the first coming in match 1!
In Session F, AH left WU in last place, with a home draw to GH 0-0 (6-5), an away draw to HE 1-1 (4-8) and a home loss to SF 0-1 (5-4). Session F also saw OBT break the record for most draws in a season. After Session F, OBT had 11 draws. (They would finish with 11).
Session G saw AH return to the basement with a home loss to TMM 0-1 (3-9), a home draw to MMM 0-0 (2-6), and an away draw to FCA 0-0 (3-9).
AH went into the relegation tourney along with HE, OBT, and WU. In Group A, along with the Panhellenic Athletic Outcasts (PAO), White Beach FC (WB), and HE, AH racked up three wins, at home against PAO 1-0 (8-1), again at home against WB 1-0 (5-4), and away against HE 1-0 (7-3).
In the second round of relegation, against OBT, PAO, and the Flying Phonons (FP), AH stayed in the top division with a home win against FP 1-0 (6-9), a hole loss to PAO 1-2 (3-8), and a home draw to OBT 0-0 (7-7).
Only the top 8 teams in Original played for the Cup.
AH finished the regular season with a 2-8-12 record (12th out of 12), with 8 goals for and 30 goals against, a -22 GD.

SW Kyoko Otonashi won the title for Most Saves with 12 saves. GK Daneel Openshaw played 12 matches, allowing 9 goals and making 18 saves for a rating of -0.667. GK Nene Romanova's rating is unknown, but she would have played 10 matches and allowed 21 goals.
